Situated in the center of the Riviera Maya, facing the beautiful Mexican coast. 25 minutes south of Cancun International Airport, 15 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, only 10 minutes out from “Mayakoba championship” golf course, 25 minutes away from the “Playacar Golf Club”, 5 minutes south from Puerto Morelos and 35 minutes south of downtown Cancun.

Reservation Dates
- Arrival Date: October 18, 2024 Check-in is 3pm
- Departure Date: October 23, 2024 Checkout is 12pm
- There is a 3-night minimum stay required but you can stay longer if desired. Select your dates on the reservation form below.
The room categories listed on this page are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to request a room category not listed, please indicate your preferred room category on the form in the "Special Request" box.
Trip Deposit & Payment Schedule
- A payment of $100.00 per person is all you need to secure your reservation.
- Friday, June 28, 2024 is the deadline to pay the 50% total reservation deposit and secure your reservation. Any reservations requested after that date can be added, though no special discounts can be applied after August 1, 2024.
- Full payment for your trip is due no later than August 1, 2024. Reservations submitted after this date are due in full, and space is not guaranteed.
- Payments towards your balance can be made monthly. Hidden Gem Travel sends out monthly statements on the 1st of each month after you have approved and deposited for your package, where you can optionally apply a payment.
- We recommend flying into Cancun International Airport (CUN). El Dorado Royale Resort & Spa is approximately 25 minutes from CUN.
- CUN is where your transportation will meet you to bring you to the resort.
Accessibility
Since the resort is not located in the United States, the hotel is not required to comply with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
This resort is not wheelchair friendly. If you require a wheelchair, we do not recommend you stay at this property. If you need to rent a scooter, or oxygen tank, you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here for their website.

Lomas has added more inclusions for this group's stay! These include:
- Shared Transfers Included. You can ask to upgrade to private transfers for a fee. Shared transfers stop ONLY at El Dorado Royale, EL Dorado Seaside, and El Dorado Maroma.
- Unlimited Access to AquaNick Water park, food and snacks included. Transfers to and from the hotel are included as well.
- Unlimited Access to Rancho Bonanza experience at El Dorado Royale, which is a horseback ride through the mangroves to the property's cenote.
- Unlimited Access to Maroma Marina's Brunch. Transfers to and from the hotel are included.
- Unlimited Access to Catamaran tours from Maroma Marina. Transfers to and from the hotel are included.
Right now, these activites cannot be pre-booked prior to arrival. There will be a More Inclusive Concierge desk in El Dorado Royale's main lobby, open from 8:00am to 6:00pm, where you can schedule these free activities.
Pricing
Pricing listed below is the total you would pay, based on the number of guests in your room, and the number of nights you choose to stay. Remember, there is a minimum of 3 nights. Price includes: Unlimited food & beverage, Daily & Nightly Entertainment, WiFi, taxes & gratuities. Price also includes the More Inclusive amenities listed above on this page.
What's NOT Included in the Pricing:
Any spa purchases, gift shop purchases, and other incidental items are not included in pricing. The resort will ask for a credit card upon check-in for such incidentals and place a small hold on the card.
An upgraded room category. Upgraded room categories are on request and will have different pricing.
The state of Quintana Roo has also imposed an Eco-tax, which is not included in the cost of your stay. This tax is paid upon checkout through the resort, and is approximately $1.30 USD per room, per night.
Lastly, Quintana Roo also has a VISITAX, which is approximately $20 USD per person, to be paid prior to departing Mexico. More information on the VisiTax as well as a link to pay will be provided closer to travel by Hidden Gem Travel.

Luxury Junior Suite
These newly renovated suites surrounded by lavish garden views, are decorated with inspirational Mexican culture. Featuring authentic dark wood furniture with king or two queen beds, each suite has contemporary bathrooms equipped with relaxing hot tubs, double sinks and our signature amenities, creating an overall relaxing and romantic atmosphere.
Swim-up Junior Suite
These suites offer convenient access to a lazy river from your terrace or access to a tropical garden followed by the lazy river, the suites are decorated with inspirational Mexican culture. Featuring authentic dark wood furniture with a king bed or two queen beds, each suite has contemporary bathrooms equipped with a relaxing hot tub, double sinks and signature amenities, creating an overall relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Located from villa 1 to 5 and from villa 42 to 44.
Casita Suite
The double-height ceilings and palapa roofs create an aesthetically pleasing appearance. This suite offers many amenities, including an outdoor shower where you can enjoy the beautiful nature after relaxing on your private patio.

Hidden Gem Travel will send everyone in this group a flight collector form on July 15, 2024. You'll need to fill in your information and submit this to us no later than September 1, 2024, so we can provide your flights and arrange your transfers in a timely manner.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is travel insurance required?
While travel insurance is not required, it is strongly recommended, because you never know what life will throw at you.
Vacations are a big investment, and losing it for any reason can be disappointing. Travel Insurance can help protect your investment, should anything happen before or during travel.

Is there a payment plan?
The only requirement is the intial 50% of the total reservation deposit on your reservation, which is due by June 28, 2024. You can deposit now for as little as $100.00 per room and make monthly payments. Missed the deposit deadline? We can still book you into our group until August 1, 2024.
Final payment is due by August 1, 2024.
Hidden Gem Travel sends out monthly statements with the option to make payments at your convenience.
I am going to have a roommate. How does it work when they are not my partner?
No problem! We request you get the required information from them for our reservation form, and submit one form for the two of you. We can send each of you the invoice approval and payment link.
Can we come earlier or stay later?
Absolutely! Hidden Gem Travel can assist with any extended stays. Just put your requested dates on the reservation request form.
What happens if I don't book with Hidden Gem Travel?
You will not have access to our exclusive discounts. Hidden Gem Travel will also not be able to assist you on aspects of your booking.

Reservation Cancelation Policy
If you cancel your reservation before June 28, 2024, you are only responsible for a $100.00 per person cancelation fee. However, you can reduce the number of nights on your reservation up until this date without incurring a cancellation fee.
If you cancel your reservation between June 28, 2024 and August 1, 2024, you will be responsible for 50% of your reservation total. Also, if you reduce the number of nights on your reservation between these dates, you are responsible for 50% of the nights reduced. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
If you cancel your reservation or reduce the number of nights on your reservations on or after August 1, 2024, you are responsible for 100% of your reservation total. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
Additionally, the resort will not allow the following modifications after August 1, 2024:
- Downgrading a room category
- Decreasing the number of nights on your reservation
- Removing a guest from your reservation (reducing the occupancy of your room)
This resort will not allow any changes, including name changes, to your reservation after September 1, 2024.
What can you do with your reservation between August 1, 2024, and September 1, 2024?
- Upgrade your room category, if an upgraded room category is available
- Add extra nights, if additional nights are available
- Add an additional guest
The resort will not provide a travel or credit voucher if you arrive after your scheduled date, check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected on your reservation for any reason.
Hidden Gem Travel is not an agent of the resort and has no control over the refund policies and other rules mandated by the Resort.
If you do not purchase travel insurance and have to cancel your reservation you may still have to pay a partial penalty up to the full amount of the reservation plus the $100.00 per person cancelation fee.
If you purchased a travel insurance policy and have to cancel you will be refunded by the travel insurance company according to the travel insurance guidelines minus the non-refundable premium paid to the travel insurance company, but you are still responsible for the $100.00 per person cancelation fee.
Once a reservation is booked there is a $100.00 per person cancelation fee with no regard to the reason for the cancelation. The cancelation fee applies to cancelations that result in a re-booking.
Travel Insurance Information
**If you have any questions about the travel insurance please call Travel Insured at 1-800-243-3174. We (Hidden Gem Travel) are not a licensed insurance company and cannot legally answer any insurance-related questions.**
Not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel money and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there is no way to recoup any costs, losses, or expenses incurred. The price of Travel Protection is NOT included in the price of room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is definitely important and we recommend it for everyone. However, the choice to have travel protection is solely up to you, and you are welcome to purchase through any company you like.

When you click the link, you will need to answer a few questions about your trip, and you'll be redirected to a page with their policy plans and pricing.
The website offers plans like the "Worldwide Trip Protector" plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason), Optional Bed Rest to cover any quarantine expenses, and more. Travel Insured is the company we personally use and we highly recommend them for travel insurance needs.
If you want the CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) benefit you will have to add it to the policy and you must purchase insurance no later than 21 days after you make your initial payment. CFAR is not available to NY residents.
The basic "Worldwide Trip Protector" plan which does not include CFAR can be purchased at any time, including more than 21 days after your first payment, but it will not cover the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver or the Bankruptcy/Default of an airline, cruise line, tour operator or any other travel vendors. However, you can still cancel for a covered reason and potentially receive up to 100% in refunds as long as it's a covered reason.
Depending on the reason for canceling, travel insurance will cover 75-100% of your trip cancelation and many other things like medical services, trip delay, lost luggage, and more.

A payment link is provided in the invoice approval email. Once payment is submitted, it is manually processed by Hidden Gem Travel and may not show up on your statement for 3-5 business days.
Payments submitted after 12 pm CST will be processed the following business day.
