They're very excited to have you join them for their wedding celebration in beautiful Riviera Maya. Their ceremony will take place on November 7, 2025, and they would love for you to spend a well-deserved week with them at beautiful El Dorado Royale & El Dorado Casitas Royale.
Jey and Rachel from Hidden Gem Travel, a destination wedding and group travel agency, will be taking care of all of you to make sure you attend the wedding weekend events! They have worked very hard to secure room block rates so all guests can attend their wedding November 7, 2025.

Reservation Dates
- Arrival Date: November 4, 2025 Check-in is 3pm
- Departure Date: November 11, 2025 is 12pm
- There is a 3-night minimum stay required but you can stay longer if desired. Select your dates on the reservation form below.
The room categories listed on this page are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trip Deposit & Payment Schedule
- A payment of $100.00 per person is all that is due to secure your stay in the room block.
- Tuesday, June 17, 2025 is the deadline to pay 75% of your reservation total. Any reservations requested after that date can be added, though no special discounts can be applied after July 17, 2025.
- Full payment for your trip is due no later than July 17, 2025. Reservations submitted after this date are due in full, and space is not guaranteed.
- Payments towards your balance can be made monthly. Hidden Gem Travel sends out monthly statements on the 17th of each month after you have approved and deposited for your package, where you can optionally apply a payment.
- We recommend flying into Cancun International Airport (CUN). The El Dorado Royale is approximately 25 minutes from CUN.
- Cancun International Airport is where your transportation will meet you to bring you to the resort.
Accessibility
Since the resort is not located in the United States, the hotel is not required to comply with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
This resort is not wheelchair friendly. If you require a wheelchair, we do not recommend you stay at this property. If you need to rent a scooter, wheelchair, or oxygen tank, you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here for their website.
Although we are arranging transfers, we've found most transportation companies are not handicap friendly. Past clients have been happy with Happy Shuttle. If you need accessible transportation services, click on their website here.
El Dorado Royale
Situated in the center of the Riviera Maya, facing the beautiful Mexican coast. 25 minutes south of Cancun International Airport, 15 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, only 10 minutes out from “Mayakoba championship” golf course, 25 minutes away from the “Playacar Golf Club”, 5 minutes south from Puerto Morelos and 35 minutes south of downtown Cancun.

Featuring authentic dark wood furniture with a king bed, each suite has contemporary bathrooms equipped with a relaxing hot tub, double sinks and our signature amenities, creating a relaxing and romantic atmosphere.
Swim Up Jr Suite
They offer convenient access to a lazy river from your terrace or access to a tropical garden followed by the lazy river, these suites are decorated with inspirational Mexican culture. Featuring authentic dark wood furniture with a king bed or two queen beds, each suite has contemporary bathrooms equipped with a relaxing hot tub, double sinks and our signature amenities, creating an overall relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The main advantage of the suites is the deep sense of intimacy, as they are far away from the other buildings of the hotel. Their location offers views of the Caribbean Sea and you can enjoy its beauty from your private terrace pool.

Roundtrip shared transportation is included in the price of your stay, and provided by Lomas Travel.
Hidden Gem Travel will send out a flight collection form to all guests so we can send your flight information to Lomas approximately 2 months prior to arrival.

Is travel insurance required?
While travel insurance is not required, it is strongly recommended, because you never know what life will throw at you.
Vacations are a big investment, and losing it for any reason can be disappointing. Travel Insurance can help protect your investment, should anything happen before or during travel.

Is there a payment plan?
The only requirement is the intial $100.00 per person to secure your reservation and a second 75% deposit of your reservation, which is due by June 17, 2025. The initial $100.00 per person deposit is applied towards your total reservation balance. Missed the deposit deadline? We can still book you into our group until July 17, 2025.
Final payment is due by July 17, 2025.
Hidden Gem Travel sends out monthly statements with the option to make payments at your convenience.
I am going to have a roommate. How does it work when they are not my partner?
No problem! We request you get the required information from them for our reservation form, and submit one form for the two of you. We can send each of you the invoice approval and payment link.
Can we come earlier or stay later?
Absolutely! Hidden Gem Travel can assist with any extended stays. Just put your requested dates on the reservation request form.
What happens if I don't book with Hidden Gem Travel?
You will not have access to our exclusive discounts. Hidden Gem Travel will also not be able to assist you on aspects of your booking. The wedding department may also not be aware of your attendance to the wedding & events.

Reservation Cancelation Policy
If you cancel your reservation before June 17, 2025, you are only responsible for a $100.00 per person cancelation fee. However, you can reduce the number of nights on your reservation up until this date without incurring a cancellation fee.
If you cancel your reservation between June 18, 2025 and July 16, 2025 you will be responsible for $100.00 per person cancelation fee and any applicable hotel penalties. This includes reducing any nights to your stay If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
If you cancel your reservation or reduce the number of nights on your reservations on or after July 17, 2025 you are responsible for 100% of your reservation total, plus a $100.00 per person cancellation fee. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
Additionally, the resort will not allow the following modifications after July 17, 2025:
- Downgrading a room category
- Decreasing the number of nights on your reservation
- Removing a guest from your reservation (reducing the occupancy of your room)
This resort will not allow any changes, including name changes, to your reservation after August 16, 2025.
What can you do with your reservation between July 17, 2025 and August 16, 2025?
- Upgrade your room category, if an upgraded room category is available
- Add extra nights, if additional nights are available
- Add an additional guest
The resort will not provide a travel or credit voucher if you arrive after your scheduled date, check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected on your reservation for any reason.
Hidden Gem Travel is not an agent of the resort and has no control over the refund policies and other rules mandated by the Resort.
If you do not purchase travel insurance and have to cancel your reservation you may still have to pay a partial penalty up to the full amount of the reservation plus the $100.00 per person cancelation fee.
If you purchased a travel insurance policy and have to cancel you will be refunded by the travel insurance company according to the travel insurance guidelines minus the non-refundable premium paid to the travel insurance company, but you are still responsible for the $100.00 per person cancelation fee.
Once a reservation is booked there is a $100.00 per person cancelation fee with no regard to the reason for the cancelation. The cancelation fee applies to cancelations that result in a re-booking.
Travel Insurance
**If you have any questions about the travel insurance please call Travel Insured at 1-800-243-3174. We (Hidden Gem Travel) are not a licensed insurance company and cannot legally answer any insurance-related questions.**
Not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel money and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there is no way to recoup any costs, losses, or expenses incurred. The price of Travel Protection is NOT included in the price of room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is definitely important and we recommend it for everyone. However, the choice to have travel protection is solely up to you, and you are welcome to purchase through any company you like.

The website offers plans like the "Worldwide Trip Protector" plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason), Optional Bed Rest to cover any quarantine expenses, and more. Travel Insured is the company we personally use and we highly recommend them for travel insurance needs.
If you want the CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) benefit you will have to add it to the policy and you must purchase insurance no later than 21 days after you make your initial payment. CFAR is not available to NY residents.
The basic "Worldwide Trip Protector" plan which does not include CFAR can be purchased at any time, including more than 21 days after your first payment, but it will not cover the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver or the Bankruptcy/Default of an airline, cruise line, tour operator or any other travel vendors. However, you can still cancel for a covered reason and potentially receive up to 100% in refunds as long as it's a covered reason.
Depending on the reason for canceling, travel insurance will cover 75-100% of your trip cancelation and many other things like medical services, trip delay, lost luggage, and more.

A payment link is provided in the invoice approval email. Once payment is submitted, it is manually processed by Hidden Gem Travel and may not show up on your statement for 3-5 business days.
Payments submitted after 12 pm CST will be processed the following business day.
